Breast Cancer has truly been my most humbling life experience. In 2015 at the age of 46, I was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. My journey has consisted of multiple surgeries and ongoing treatment and has allowed me to be totally transparent in the hope that I can help others. I am forever changed as a person and find myself to be very compassionate to complete strangers as we form a bond due to similar life circumstances. I have taken my illness in stride and will continue to pray for a cure. Finally, at the end of the day I continue to smile, stay positive and live my best life.
