Diagnosed with invasive lobular carcinoma in 2014, I am now celebrating my life as a survivor. Because of a strong family history of breast cancer, I met the challenges of treatment head on. After a bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction and a number of other surgeries, I decided to turn my experiences and knowledge into helping others. As an Angel, I am able to educate, encourage and calm patients as they face the decisions and treatments which they may need to become a survivor. I am here, I am strong and resilient, and I am enjoying life to the fullest.
