It’s been 20 years since my initial diagnosis. Although going through treatment was not a pleasant journey. I have always cherished the memory of it because there were not only tears and fears, but also love and support from my loved ones. My experience taught me to be more appreciative of life, knowing where there’s a will, there’s a way. I learned to never give up easily. During the years of being a volunteer, besides helping with patients, I get to be friends with many wonderful ladies. I would never have imagined 20 years ago that breast cancer could bring us together!
