Breast cancer’s impact on my life is not all what I expected. Sure, it wasn’t any fun going through the process, but here I stand (or dance) on the other side, an improved human being who is happier, more appreciative, more energetic and more empathetic than I ever imagined. Breast cancer shook me out of my comfort zone and taught me not to take life for granted. It helped me discover how strong I truly am and that I can do ANYTHING. And, most importantly, it taught me to appreciate my family and friends and to show my love for them as they did for me.
